Welcome friends! I hope your week is going well. Mine is pretty rockin’ so far. I have done some sleeping, some chewing on my toys and some playing with my friend Riley. Pretty solid.

The place: the car

I’m feeling: windblown

Pretty glam, huh? Usually people have to go through hair and makeup and be set up in a studio with good lighting and a wind machine and then get Photoshopped to look this good. I was just hanging out in the car, Justin opened the window and this magic happened. I’d love to give some pointers, but you just can’t teach this kind of thing.

Anyways, this picture was taken after a long day of apple picking. It was my first time in the orchards and we had a great time! I was pretty green at that point in my life (I was only 3 months old, after all) so it was a real learning experience for me. I was particularly drawn to the gourds. Here I am choosing a few to bring home with us.

It took a little digging

but I found the perfect ones for us.

Silly me, I was a little unclear on the assignment at first. I thought we were supposed to eat the pumpkins and carve the apples.

Man was my face red! Did I mention that I was very young at the time? Live and learn, I guess.

Before we left, Justin and I posed for a picture. Look how tiny I am! My favorite part is how he matched his shirt to my leash.
