The Off-Season

040It’s no secret that beach towns during the off-season are some of my favorite places (I’ve expressed my love for them before, here and here). They’re still just as beautiful as they are during the summer (dare I say, even more beautiful?) and there’s a calmness about them that is hard to find during the peak season  with people fighting over parking spaces and kids screaming for ice cream.

I like to scream for ice cream without any competition from kids, thank you very much.

This past weekend we headed down the Cape for an overnight visit and we had a great time enjoying the beautiful weather and not worrying about getting sunburned.

You’ll be happy to hear that Brody has recovered nicely from his leg-shortening procedure:
