Me? A Model? (part 19)

Heyooo friends! Happy New Year!

Yup, we’re almost a whole month into the new year and I’m just now getting my act together. But fear not! I’m back and I’m ready for action.

Welcome, one and all, to the very first 2013 segment of Me? A Model? starring me, Brody the hound!

Let’s get to it!

The time: last summer
The place: sittin’ on the dock of the bay
I’m feeling: slightly unhinged

This picture was taken eons ago. Well, maybe not eons, but it sure feels like it; it’s hard to remember it ever being warm and sunny enough to sit on a dock and creep on kayakers.

Chrissy snapped this shot of me when we were on a hike one day last summer. You might have noticed that, though still handsome, I look a little…wacky. That’s because it had been a huge day for me and I was a touch overwhelmed. I had just gone soaring through the woods like my majestic ancestor, the wolf, and then I was going to take a dip in the lake to cool off when suddenly something caught my eye. Good thing, too, because I was just about to jump into the deep abyss with a monster. A MONSTER, I tell you!

Now, emotions were running pretty high, so it’s hard to say just how big the monster was, but I’m pretty sure it looked exactly like this:

So…yeah. No, thanks. When your livelihood is your looks, you don’t do reckless things like tango with water beasts. I decided that a rest on the dock was more my speed.

I can relate to the Brody in that picture, though; I’ve been feeling a little stir crazy lately beacuse of this tail-freezing weather that we’ve been having. I think I might need to pick up a pair of boots to keep my toes warm while I gallop through the snow like a clydesdale. In the meantime, I’ll just gaze at pictures of me on the beach and remember days of yore…
